Doctor Anton Verloc is the creator of joy. Joy doctors work for him, and he is one of the main antagonists. A Wastrel said she is waiting for the fourth flavour of joy, "Coconut". The Joy Doctors make sure people take their Joy.
Anton's Job[]
Anton's job is to make sure that people take their Joy (not be downers/wastrels). He also creates the happy drug Joy.
Anton leads Joy Doctors, Bobbies, and Wellies. He also produced a mask that shapes a person's face into a smile, Criers also take Joy, when not on Joy greet as many Criers as possible to keep suspicion low. When on Joy, Criers will scream and run to the nearest Bobbie or Wellie.
