Scotch is a drink that contains no Joy. It is also a crafting ingredient. As is, using it as a drink, is not effective, as it makes you drunk and doesn't even take away a decent amount of thirst. However, it does have another use aside for consumption and crafting; bribing. Village bobbies will be more willing to ignore you if you give them a bottle of this. Do bear in mind that it loosens them up, it doesn't make you completely invisible to them.
